Milestone Extension: Section 106 Review

BOEM is requesting these completion date modifications due to the timing of the Project Sponsor’s submission of a revised Construction and Operations Plan (COP) containing additional data and assessments that BOEM requires prior to issuing a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) under NEPA.

Justification:  The Coastal Protection and Restoration authority (Applicant/Project Sponsor), is requesting time extensions for all the planned and in-progress target milestone dates on the permitting dashboard for CPRA’s Mid-Breton Sediment Diversion project.  This request is the result of a minor change in the construction area for the Project.
