Project had been paused, waiting for revised POD from applicant. Schedule delays due to coordination with DRECP, CA CEQA requirements. And minor delay coordinating with another FAST-41 project, Desert Quartzite on location of their gen-tie line.
BLM was waiting for revised POD. Upon receipt, project is back in progress.
Schedule back in progress, upon receipt of revised Plan of Development from proponent. Paused while waiting for revised POD, need for coordination with DRECP and California CEQA requirements. Additional minor delay occurred to coordinate with another FAST-41 project, solar Desert Quartzite, on that project's gen tie route.
Need for delay provided to OED on 5/23/19: This project is delayed primarily due to issues with the Old Spanish Trail. Additional coordination was needed to address this issue, cause the DEIS date to slide by appx 3 months.

The applicant delayed sending the Site-Specific Plan of Development 6 (SPOD-6) until May 23, 2019. The project Sponsor (Proponent, Power Company of Wyoming) is make business decisions to ensure that their transmission line (Transwest Express) is on a similar construction timeline. Currently, the Chokecherry Sierra Madre Project is under construction on Phase I and the haul road and infrastructure for Phase II. The proponent has permitting in place to allow for construction for all of the 2019 construction season.
The Action has been completed. It took more time due to information needs from Proponent.

The current CPP dated March 29, 2019 has a hyperlink to the Permitting Timetable where the revised target date will be displayed. This project has not been discussed at a CERPO meeting. 4. Possibly, depending upon when the Section 106 MOA is completed. 5. Yes.

1. No; 2. This date was provided as part of the coordinated effort with the Sponsor and all agencies in order to revise the schedule so that we could take the project out of "pause". 3. Yes, I believe all levels of management are aware of all changes being made to the schedule. 4. This date change is part of multiple date changes occurring on this project. This date change was not the impetus behind the delays to the project. This date change is in response to those delays. 5.
