1. Project sponsor concurs with date change. See separate email to FERC, FPISC-OED, project sponsor and cooperating agencies. 2. see #1 above 3. It is up to FERC as lead agency to document any changes in the project's CPP. This has not been discussed at any project-specific CERPO meeting. 4. Target date for permit issuance may be "moved to the left" depending upon the date of completion of the Section 106 consultation process. 5. My agency CERPO has been made aware of the fact that the date is being changed because of the dependency factor.
FERC EIS schedule changed and therefor the issuance a Section 408 decision also changed. The CPP was updated to reflect this change. The date change was coordinated with the project sponsor, JCLNG, who concurred on the date change and the FERC and the cooperating agencies were provided the update and the CPP on 20 March 2019.
Executive Director, FPISC-OED has approved the milestone extension requests for Alaska LNG Project that were submitted on 3/5/2019
CURRENT STATUS: The Corps is working with the EIS contractor to complete studies necessary for the integrated Regulatory and 408 Draft Environmental Impact Statement. The delay in receiving the information from PCCA, which was requested in April 2020, and subsequent required sequential modelling has delayed the overall project schedule 12 months.
This is a planned action and NOAA has not received a request for formal consultation nor sufficient information to initiate consultation. The target completion dates for the ESA consultation associated with this project are dependencies with target completion dates based on FERC’s EIS schedule. On February 27, 2018, FERC staff paused the draft and final EIS milestones for this project because additional information from the project sponsor was required to full assess impacts of the project.
The schedule for this project has been updated to reflect the changes submitted to FPISC on January 12th, 2018. The DEIS has been delayed primarily due to additional analysis required for the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan, and the California Public Utilities Commission review for CEQA adequacy. DOI has identified a new target completion date for the DEIS, and is expediting the remaining schedule accordingly.
The applicant has requested a change in the project that requires additional edits to the DEIS. DOI is requesting to adjust all dates going forward from the DEIS, to include the FEIS, ROD, ROW and NTP. Although the first milestone adds 42 days, the final action, which is the NTP is only extended by 2 weeks. The adjusted target completion dates have been developed in consultation with the applicant to accommodate their request.
