The Project Sponsor has informed FWS that it may need up to two weeks to sign the ROW permit it received on 8/7/2020, and return it to the FWS Realty Office. FWS has coordinated with the Lead Agency (USDA RUS) on this delay.
Final Required Milestone Date of 08/28/2020 for Issuance of decision for permit/approval has passed by 5 business days
In order for USACE issue the easement, the agency requires 4 weeks to 1) ensure execution of the mitigation plan by all parties and 2) resolution of a congressional inquiry following the issuance of the DOI-FWS permit (if USFWS meets 8/28/20 date) and 2 additional weeks for the grantee (ITC) to re-review and agree to conditions.
The consultation with the Nevada SHPO is taking much longer than anticipated therefore the completion of this task is going to need more time.
