Agency staff tried to change the target date on December 27, 2017 (more than 30 days before the target date); however, due to staff leave over the Holidays, this update could not be made before the lock-out. Further, FPISC-OED failed to approve of the date change before the January 26, 2018 target date was missed. FPISC-OED has already approved via e-mail for this update to occur.

Milestone Extension: Right-of-Way Authorization (DOI-BLM)

The DEIS has been delayed due to additional analysis required to address mitigation concerns.  DOI has identified a new target completion date for the DEIS, and is expediting the remaining permitting milestones accordingly. This includes issuing the ROW and ROD concurrently and reducing the overall time to complete remaining actions by 4+ months.
