Additional information related to dredging for the cable route was still outstanding at the beginning of the month. Sponsor submittal anticipated by the end of the month. The information is required for the EFH consultation.  

Completion of EFH consultation will be dependent on completing analysis of dredging for the onshore cable route. There is ongoing coordination between agencies and the sponsor to ensure information sufficient to conclude consultation.

Alternative milestone is Feb 2, 2024 for NOAA determines EFH Assessment is Complete (Agency Action). BOEM submitted revised EFH package to NMFS on January 26, 2024.

Issues include: inconsistency with USACE permit application (which was submitted after most of the consultation documents were written); clarifications about ports and O&M facility; need more info from US Wind about disposition of dredged material.

The original date entered into the dashboard for this milestone was misaligned with BOEM's nominal schedule. In the nominal schedule, this milestone typically is concurrent with the start of the NMFS's DEIS review. That date is anticipated to be June 2, 2023, not May 19 as previously indicated.
