  • Monthly Status Report for March 2024:
    BOEM met the FEIS milestone of March 1 and is on track to publish the ROD on April 1.  
  • Monthly Status Report for February 2024:
    BOEM will meet the March 1, 2024 milestone to publish the NOA in the Federal Register. For the subsequent milestone, BOEM is currently coordinating with cooperating agencies to finalize the Record of Decision and is on track to meet the ROD milestone of April 1, 2024.
  • Monthly Status Report for January 2024:
    BOEM anticipates publishing the NOA for the FEIS on March 1, 2024. This aligns with the updated permitting timetable provided to the Permitting Council as part of an Executive Director Determination (EDD) request in December of 2023. While this milestone did not need an EDD to be updated, it was included in the revised permitting timetable in the EDD request. BOEM received the EDD on Jan 12, 2024.
  • Non-conformance Explanation:
    BOEM completed a review of the permitting timetable for this project with the cooperating agencies and in consultation with the project sponsor. The review encompassed all agency actions and milestone dates for the project, including this action. BOEM provided the Permitting Council with an updated permitting timetable on Dec 15, 2023 for all actions, including this milestone.

BOEM is undertaking additional scoping for two new variations of the offshore export cable corridor submitted by the project sponsor. The submission was received after the initial scoping period ended.
