On March 10, 2020, Commission staff circulated a final Programmatic Agreement (PA) for signatures from the Virginia and North Carolina State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPO).  On March 24, 2020, the North Carolina SHPO signed the final PA; however, on April 1, 2020, the Virginia SHPO declined to sign the final PA and provided comments.  On April 10, 2020, Commission staff responded to the Virginia SHPO’s comments and recirculated the final PA for signature.  The final PA was executed with the Virginia SHPO’s signature on May 17, 2020.
