Initial Marine Site Investigation Report (MSIR) Part 1 received on October 31, 2022 was deemed insufficient on November 25, 2022 due to 200 miles of missing export cable data. The new target submittal date for the proponent to provide the missing export cable data is March 10, 2023. Once all the information is received, BOEM will determine whether the MSIR is sufficient to support the issuance of an NOI. BOEM sufficiency review will include a review of the Project Sponsor's revised departure request, submitted to BOEM on March 10, regarding MSIR requirements.

On April 28, 2023, the Project Sponsor provided a Memorandum summarizing the updates to the Marine Site Investigation Report (MSIR) delivered in October 2022 (first revision) and revised on March 2023 (second revision).

The Project Sponsor plans to provide a directory for the MSIR (Part 1), as a Memo for BOEM's use during the sufficiency review.

MSIR Part 1 is technical information required prior to NOI per 30 CFR 585.626-27.

MSIR Part 2 will be submitted at a later date during the NEPA process.
