Milestone Extension: Section 10 Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 and Section 404 Clean Water Act

Submitted by carlos_arandia on

We did not previously have a target date for our target completion date (our 4th and last milestone), or target dates for our 2nd and 3rd milestones, so there is nothing to extend beyond 30 days. As such, I am not sure why this notification is popping up. I marked the "reason for change" date as "Updating Planned Date". I was under the impression from the last Dashboard Administrator meeting that updating planned dates do not require FPISC OED review, even if planned completion dates would be extended more than 30 days. It would be very helpful to get clarification on this. Regardless, we did not have target dates for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th milestones previously because we erroneously thought we did not need target dates for all our milestones when we were in "planned" status. As such, there is no target completion date for us to modify or extend. That being said, our planned target completion date of 2/6/2020 is in the description of our final target milestone that is currently published on the Dashboard - we simply added it this date as our target completion date and are asking for approval. We have coordinated with the applicant/project sponsor on the target end date and requirements to meet the target end date. Thank you!

Description:

The Alaska LNG Project is comprised of the following integrated and interdependent facilities:  a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Southcentral Alaska designed to produce up to 20 million metric tons per annum of LNG; an approximately 807-mile, 42-inch diameter gas pipeline; a gas treatment plant (GTP) within the Prudhoe Bay Unit (PBU) on the North Slope; an approximately 1-mile, 60-inch diameter gas transmission line connecting the GTP to the PBU gas production facility; and an approximately 63 mile, 32-inch diameter gas transmission line connecting the GTP to the Point Thomson gas production facility.  The mainline of the Alaska LNG Project will traverse over 800 miles from the GTP on the North Slope of Alaska through several boroughs before it crosses Cook Inlet and connects with the liquefaction plant and marine terminal in Nikiski, Alaska.
