Milestone Extension: Endangered Species Act Consultation (NOAA-NMFS)

Submitted by carlos_arandia on

This is a planned action and NOAA has not received a request for formal consultation nor sufficient information to initiate consultation. The target completion dates for the ESA consultation associated with this project are dependencies with target completion dates based on FERC’s EIS schedule. On February 27, 2018, FERC staff paused the draft and final EIS milestones for this project because additional information from the project sponsor was required to full assess impacts of the project. As of May 18, 2018, FERC staff had received sufficient additional information to complete the NEPA review. Therefore, their EIS milestones are no longer paused and updated target completion dates were provided to cooperating agencies in June 2018. NOAA revised the target completion dates for the ESA consultation based on FERC’s revised EIS schedule. NOAA consulted with the lead agency and the project sponsor on the revised dates.
