Description:
The USACE proffered the remaining permit to the project sponsor (Florida Power and Light) December 18, 2019.
Florida Power and Light Company (FPL), seeks approval for constructing and operating two new AP1000 reactor units at the Turkey Point site to provide additional electricity for use in the Southern Florida service areas. The two new units would be capable of providing an additional 2200 megawatts of baseload electricity.
