Description:
The proposed project would include 14 new pipeline loops, modifications and new compression at 12 existing Southern Natural Gas compressor stations in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, and additional compression at Elba Express’s Jefferson and Rincon Compressor Stations in Georgia. The proposed project would also include constructing and upgrading multiple meter stations and the abandonment and replacement of nine aging compressor units and approximately 2.2 miles of lateral pipeline in Clarke County, Mississippi. The proposed project would provide 1.323 billion cubic feet per day of incremental firm natural gas transportation capacity for markets in the Southeast.
