Description:

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers: Pittsburgh District

The Huntington District, USACE was notified by the FERC on 27 June, 2016 that Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act; Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act are complete for the WB Xpress project.  On 30 June, 2017 the Huntington District, USACE provided the FERC confirmation of compliance with the above federal laws to the Pittsburgh District and Norfolk District, USACE.  Each District (Huntington, Pittsburgh and Norfolk District) expects to render a decision under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act of 1972 on or before 14 August 2017 (45 days).
