  • Non-conformance Explanation:
    The schedule is in the process of being reset for SouthCoast Wind by the lead agency (BOEM) and it will shift multiple milestones, including this one to 9/1/23.  The lead agency, BOEM, coordinated with the agencies, including the USFWS, on a revised schedule; however, BOEM has not submitted the ED memo determination request for the schedule reset to OED yet for an ED determination on the record.  Since May 2023, BOEM and the USFWS requested additional information, which is essential for the consultation, including the turbine specifications and the associated cable landfall sites.  On July 7, 2023, 7 days prior to the July 14 target date, the Sponsor provided additional, substantial information that needs to be evaluated in the Biological Opinion.
