Description:
To date, a Section 408 application/request has not been submitted. The Corps is currently working with the project sponsor to coordinate information needs to support the Section 408 evaluation process. The Section 408 review process will be conducted in accordance with the Policy and Procedural Guidance for Processing Requests to Alter US Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Projects Pursuant to 33 USC 408 (Engineer Circular (EC) No. 1165-2-220).
Milestones:
Based on information provided by the project sponsor on June 14, 2019, the project sponsor anticipates submitting a Section 408 application/request on approximately March 20, 2023. The target date is dependent on the submittal of a Section 408 application/request by the project sponsor by the specific date.
The target date of a completed Section 408 application/request received is dependent upon the submittal of a complete Section 408 application/request by the project sponsor on the target date provided by the project sponsor for milestone 1. The Corps would review the submittal for completeness within 30 days of receipt.
This milestone target date is dependent upon submittal of a complete Section 408 application/request by the project sponsor and subsequent approval of specific milestones by the Corps resulting in the requestor proceeding to the next milestone and/or the final milestone of the 408 evaluation process.
