We are modifying Milestonte 3 of the ESA consultation to extend the consultation period 30 days. Additional time needed for Consultation due to (1) the amount and scope of additional information about the Project being relayed to the Service by the action agencies, other agencies, tribal entities and the Applicant; (2) the increasing complexity of assessing impacts and their significance based on this additional information; and (3) recent revisions to regulations that implement section 7 of the ESA, that must be applied to consultations underway as of October 28, 2019. The extension should not affect the schedule for the revised date for the EIS.
