Description:

The Mojave desert tortoise occurs in the proposed project area; therefore, BLM is required to consult with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under section 7 of the Endangered Species Act to address any potential project effects on the desert tortoise or its habitat.  FWS detemined that it had received a complete consultation package on June 25, 2019 and has 135 days to complete its biological opinion.
