Description:
Enforcement of federal laws that protect listed wildlife and plant species and migratory birds is the responsibility of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). A biological assessment (BA) was submitted to USFWS on May 10, 2019 (Tetra Tech 2019) and concurrence was received on May 21, 2019 (USFWS 2019) that no threatened and endangered species would be adversely affected by the Project. Once the Agency selected-alternative is identified the BLM will request an updated concurrence letter for the Project from USFWS in order to meet Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultation requirements.
