There was a joint public notice with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality on the permit application that was issued on March 18, 2019. The Notice of Intent (NOI) was issued in the federal register (85 FR 39892) on July 2, 2020. To obtain public input at the beginning of the environmental impact statement (EIS) development process, the Corps held a series of virtual public scoping meetings. These public scoping meetings were held on July 14, 2020 (900am), July 15, 2020 (200pm) and July 16, 2020 (600pm).
