Description:

The Antimony Ridge Exploration Project, proposed by Resolution Minerals Ltd., is a five-year mineral exploration program located primarily on the Boise National Forest near Yellow Pine, Idaho, with a portion on the Payette National Forest. The project focuses on exploratory efforts for antimony, silver, and gold and includes utilizing approximately 50 different drill sites and 2 bulk samples trenches. A minimum of 500 tons of material is expected to be removed from trenches. The project uses existing road systems, requires construction and use of up to ~1.1 miles of non-system, existing roads, and up to 2 miles of new temporary roads. Overall, the project proposes ~70 acres of new disturbance across all drill pads, roads, and trenching. Activities include year‑round drilling (with possible winter operations), water use of up to 20,000 gallons per day for two drill rigs sourced from Antimony Camp, Yellow Pine, or other approved sources, and haulage of bulk sample material using small dump trucks or super sacks staged at the Antimony Camp site. The plan includes detailed provisions for road maintenance, stormwater best management practices, wildlife protection, fire prevention, spill response, and full concurrent reclamation, including drill hole plugging, regrading of roads and trenches, debris placement, and 3‑year post‑closure monitoring for reclamation success.
