Description:

Angel Island is a development stage lithium project located in Clayton Valley in Esmeralda County, NV. Angel Island is located on BLM-administered public lands and includes existing and authorized disturbance associated with Notice NVNV105858926. The project is initiated by Cypress Holdings (NV), Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Lithium Corp.

Lithium is contained within a mudstone unit and three zones of a claystone unit. The deposit is essentially flat-lying with minimal to no overburden. Mining will be accomplished by ripping the ore, loading into trucks or onto an in-pit conveyor and transporting to the processing facility via either trucks or an in-pit conveyor system. No drilling and blasting is anticipated. Other facilities, in addition to the open pit, would include an overburden stockpile, a low-grade ore stockpile, a dry-stack tailings storage facility, roads, a warehouse and office, a shop, a lab, and a processing/leaching facility.

At the projected annual mill feed of 5.5 million tons, the daily operating rate is 15,000 tons/day. Due to the flat-lying nature of the deposit and the minimal overburden, the stripping ratio is <0.3:1 (overburden to feed/ore). At these production rates, estimated lithium carbonate extraction is 27,400 tons per year.

This project is posted in the interest of transparency and response to Executive Order 14241.  A permitting timetable will be posted by August 15, 2025.
