Description:
Silver Rock Transmission proposes to construct a large-scale high voltage transmission line to cross approximately 330-miles of public land to help facilitate BLM's geothermal leasing activities in eastern Nevada and western Utah by providing a viable transmission path to market for next-generation geothermal developments, thereby supporting federal leasing objectives and unlocking access to high-capacity baseload resources. The project would be constructed to transfer a nominal voltage of up to 600 kilovolts (kV) located within a siting corridor of approximately 1,000 feet.
