Description:
The project sponsor proposes to construct and operate a quarry that would produce limestone feedstock. The project would consist of a limestone quarry and associated facilities on approximately 2,293-acres of land managed by the BLM in Moapa Valley, Clark County, Nevada. The project would supply limestone feedstock to a cement production plant that the project sponsor plans to construct as a separate project on an adjacent, privately-owned parcel.
