Description:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using State and Federal funding, is proposing a Capital Preventive Maintenance project that would cold-plane existing asphalt concrete pavement and overlay from edge of pavement to edge of pavement on State Route 273 from PM 14.5/18.5 and PM 18.7/20.033, State Route 44 from PM L0.0R/L0.444R and PM L0.0L/L0.395L, State Route 299 from PM 23.89/G24.088, build new complete streets assets including crosswalks, enhanced crosswalks, sidewalk, class 1 bike lane, and two class 2 bike lane locations. The project would restore the pavement, culvert, and TMS elements to a good condition. The project would also improve accessibility and ease of travel for bicyclists and pedestrians.
