Description:
The City of Philadelphia Division of Aviation (DOA) proposes to expand the storage capacity and add other improvements to the existing fuel farm complex and loading rack facility at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). The fuel farm is located on the southern tip of the PHL property in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, while the load rack is located about 1,100 feet to the southeast of Terminal D. The improvements include modifying the loading racks, expanding the existing fuel farm and associated site improvements, and replacing the fuel supply pipeline. Upgrades to the existing fuel arm would also be made to accommodate the increase in fuel storage capacity.
