Description:
The North Houston Highway Improvement Project is a proposal by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to modify the North Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 or IH 45) between the Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8) and the Southwest Freeway (US 59/IH 69) in Houston, Texas. The project is divided into three segments:
Segment 1: IH 45 from Beltway 8 to IH 610
Segment 2: IH 45 from IH 610 to IH 10
Segment 3: IH 45 from IH 10 to US 59/IH 69, IH 10 from IH 45 to US 59/IH 69 and
IH69/US 59 from IH 10 to IH 45 The project corridor is 16 miles long.
