Description:
The City of Hamilton, in conjunction with the Butler County Transportation Improvement District (BCTID) and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is undertaking the proposed North Hamilton Crossing (NHX) project to improve mobility and reduce congestion in the northeastern portion of Hamilton. The proposed NHX project extends between a western terminus at North B Street and an eastern terminus at the intersection of SR 129 and Hampshire Drive. This project has been underway since 2020 and has followed ODOT’s Project Development Process (PDP) for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). To date, a Purpose and Need was developed and approved by ODOT in February 2022 and a Feasibility Study was completed in July 2023.

Environmental and Community Outcomes
At this time, it is estimated the approximate number of residential relocations is between 55-65. The number of business relocations is estimated to be 10 at this time to construct this project.
