Description:
The project would widen SR 99 from a 4-lane freeway to a 6-lane freeway between Post Mile (PM) 15.1 and PM 19.9. The project would remove and replace the existing pavement with 0.25 foot of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) and 1.10 feet of Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP). The two new lanes
would receive the same proposed treatment. Also, the project would install inside and outside shoulders rumble strips along the SR 99 northbound and southbound lanes. The project would also remove and replace three culverts at PM 16.91, PM 17.1 8 and PM 19.04. The project would remove and replace the Berenda Creek bridge at PM Rl 6.10 and the Dry Creek bridge at PM 17 .86.
