Description:
The Utah Department of Transportation’s (UDOT) mission is to keep Utah moving while enhancing quality of life through transportation improvements in our state. UDOT conducted an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to improve regional and local mobility at the Interstate 80 (I-80) and SR-224 interchange at Kimball Junction and on SR-224 from Kimball Junction through the Olympic Parkway intersection in Summit County, Utah.
UDOT held a 45-day public comment period from March 14 to April 28, 2025, to get feedback on the Draft EIS Report. The Record of Decision was signed on August 15, 2025 and was published in the Federal Register on August 29, 2025. A copy of the Combined FEIS and Record of Decision be viewed on the project website.
