Description:
This project is located between post miles (PMs) 77.1 and 78.2L on US Route 101 (US 101) in the City of Eureka. Within city limits, the southern part of US 101 is known as Broadway Street. To the north, Broadway splits into two oneway sections: 5th Street for northbound (NB) traffic and 4th Street for southbound (SB) traffic. This project would extend 4th Street through a decommissioned rail yard known as the "Balloon Track" to Koster Street, which would reconnect to Broadway at Del Norte Street.
