Description:

The City of Pueblo West Side Connector - Sun Mountain Boulevard Extension project is a competitive RAISE grant project with the City of Pueblo, Colorado. City of Pueblo is advancing transportation infrastructure improvements to support the continued growth of its west side neighborhood. Central to this effort is the development and construction of the Sun Mountain Boulevard Extension Project. This initiative will extend Spaulding Avenue (to be renamed Sun Mountain Boulevard) from 31st Street south to 24th Street and construct two roundabouts: one at the existing Spaulding Avenue and 31st Street intersection and a second at the proposed Sun Mountain Boulevard and 27th Street intersection. The Project would add redundancy to the transportation system by adding a new roadway to improve multimodal access in the West Side, enhance traffic flow, and accommodate planned growth.
