Description:

The Cheyenne Frontier Days Park-N-Ride and Interstate 25 (I-25) Pedestrian Bridge Project proposes construction of a 36.5-acre overflow parking facility on the eastern edge of Francis E. Warren Air Force Base (FEW) and a new pedestrian bridge crossing I-25 to connect the Park N Ride to the Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) event grounds. The project will improve traffic management and pedestrian safety during large-scale events by providing dedicated off-site parking and grade-separated pedestrian access between the parking area west of I-25 and the CFD venue east of I-25. WYDOT and FHWA will authorize right-of-way access for bridge construction; FEW will issue a right-of-entry and temporary use license for the parking facility.
