Permitting Action Modification History

To ensure the effective administration of public lands, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes extending the publication of the Notice of Intent in the Federal Register to October 29, 2027. This extension is necessary to provide the project sponsor, Balanced Rock Power, with additional time to engage meaningfully with grazing permittees and address grazing impacts identified during the variance process. These changes create a cascading effect for all other actions, such as Section 106 Review, consultation concluded.
