The Permitting Dashboard is an online tool for Federal agencies, project developers, and interested members of the public to track the Federal government’s environmental review and authorization processes for large or complex infrastructure projects, part of a government-wide effort to improve coordination, transparency, and accountability.
Accountability Scorecard for Major Infrastructure Projects
The Fiscal Year 2020, Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 Accountability Scorecards have been published on the Permitting Dashboard. The scorecards evaluate agency performance and overall progress in processing environmental reviews and authorization decisions for major infrastructure projects.
On July 6, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published the Accountability Scorecards for major infrastructure projects for Quarter 1 and 2 of Fiscal Year (FY) 2020.The Accountability Scorecards evaluate agency performance and overall progress in processing environmental reviews and authorization decisions for major infrastructure projects (as defined in Section 3(e) of Executive Order 13807) and achieving the objectives of the Modernize Infrastructure Permitting Cross-Agency Priority Goal.
On May 21, 2020, the Permitting Council's Office of the Executive Director issued the Annual Report to Congress for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 4370m-7(a). The report assesses the performance of Permitting Council member agencies based on the Recommended Best Practices for Environmental Reviews and Authorizations for Infrastructure Projects for FY 2019, including agency progress in making improvements consistent with those best practices. Each Permitting Council member agency was given the opportunity to include comments concerning the performance of its agency.
